The Iberia Performing Arts League, also known as IPAL, is a community theater organization
based in New Iberia, Louisiana. Its mission is to promote live theater in New Iberia
and to enhance the community. It generally offers five major productions per season,
a summer youth play or activity, and occasionally other special events.
Community support is essential to the continued success of IPAL. Volunteering is
one of the great ways to support and get involved in this great theater family. Stage
productions require actors, backstage crew, costumers, make-up artists, light and
sound crew, set designers, carpenters, and so much more in order to bring the production
to the stage. Production sponsors are also very important and always needed. Whatever
your niche, IPAL has a place for you. To volunteer call 337.365.6114 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
IPAL MEMBERS provide continuing financial support. To become a Member, click on the
link below, print it out, mail it in and you can become a MEMBER of IPAL at various
levels. IPAL is a 501(c) non-profit organization and donations are tax free.
IPAL takes pride in quality performances presented throughout the year. All productions
are staged at the historic Essanee Theater in beautiful downtown New Iberia. Season
tickets are available beginning each year in June.
